Fusilier-Chasseurs


The Fusilier-Chasseurs fought alongisde the Fusilier-Grenadiers as the Middle Guard. These Guards saw extensive action in battle and proved their worth with superior bravery and skill.

Uniform:
  • Dark Blue habit long
  • Green Epaulettes with Red Fringes
  • Red Turnbacks
  • White Lapels
  • White Waistcoat
  • Blue or Brown Trousers
  • Shako-Red/Green Plumes, White Cords
Requirements:
  1. Had to be veterans of 2-3 campaigns

The Middle Guard was disbanded after Napoleon's exile to the island of Elba. On his return, the Middle Guard was not reassembled and therefore did not take part in the Battle of Waterloo.
